Pied Turkeys
Pied Turkeys

One of the most spectacular, pied is the oldest colour pattern known and appeared in a Flemish painting in the 16th century. The best specimens have a crisp pattern with the black feather edging on the stags appearing on the neck as well as the main body. Most of the pied birds seen in the UK are described as Crollwitzers but may actually be a british pied variety. The indistinguishable Belgian Ermine Ronquieres and similar American Royal Palm are also present in the uk.
